Live poker, dealt face-to-face

Live poker at Rincon del Juego is played with real cards, real chips, and real people across the table. There are no screens, no digital interfaces, and no online play—just the shuffle of a deck and the conversation that comes with it.

  • Physical cards and chips are the only equipment.
  • Games are hosted in the dedicated card lounge.
  • Open to adults aged 18 and over.

The physical game

Live poker at Rincon del Juego is deliberately tactile and screen-free. Everything you touch, hear, and see at the table is real.

Real cards, real chips

Every hand is dealt from a physical deck, and every decision is made with clay composite chips that have a satisfying weight. There is no software, no random number generator, and no screen to hide behind.

  • Standard 52-card decks are used.
  • Chips are physical accessories only, with no monetary value.
  • The dealer shuffles and deals by hand.

The felt and the table

Our poker tables are covered in green felt, with padded rails and built-in cup holders. The overhead view shows the dealer's tray, the community cards, and the positions around the table.

  • Tables seat up to nine players plus a dealer.
  • Felt is maintained for a smooth shuffle.
  • Overhead lighting is warm and focused.

The social ritual

Live poker is as much about conversation as it is about cards. Players read each other's expressions, share stories between hands, and enjoy the rhythm of a game that unfolds in real time.

  • Face-to-face interaction is central.
  • No chat boxes or avatars.
  • The lounge is designed for comfortable, extended play.

A room built for poker

The card lounge is a separate space within Rincon del Juego, designed with low lighting, comfortable seating, and acoustic treatment to keep the focus on the table. The walls are lined with dark timber and subtle poker-themed artwork.

  • Dedicated lounge area away from the main dining room.
  • Warm, dimmable lighting over each table.
  • Background music is kept low to allow conversation.
